- Midline embrasure should be symmetrical, posteriorly embrasures should be asymmetrical.

- Are the gums symmetrical, especially of the two central incisors?
BUCCAL CORRIDOR/GRADATION
- Do the biting edges, shade and shape of the front teeth blend harmoniously with the back teeth?
TEETH COLOUR
- What shade are the teeth now?
- What shade do we want them to be?
OCCUSION
- How can we fit the new smile into the bite so that it does not break down over time due to excessive biting forces?
