Your First Visit
At Sunshine Coast Smile Centre we realise that for some people your first visit to the dentist is quite a daunting prospect, that is why we do our best to make all our patients feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible.
Our dentists spend the time to really listen to all your concerns. We even have a TV on the ceiling to take your mind off things!
Medical History Form
Our dentists like to have a comprehensive understanding of your dental history so to facilitate this we ask you to fill out a two page Medical History Form on arrival. Alternatively, you can download the Medical History Form and fill it in at your leisure at home.
Your Dental Appointment
Once the form is completed, your dentist will conduct a thorough examination of your teeth, gums and soft tissues. This may involve taking a full set of X-rays and possibly using an intra-oral camera to explain what the dentist can see.
Through using X-rays and an intra-oral camera, our dentists can offer you the most accurate and comprehensive treatment plans tailored to your individual needs.
The intra-oral camera is also linked to our computer screens. So you the patient can see exactly what the dentist can see thus enhancing your understanding of your treatment.
Once our thorough and comprehensive exam has been conducted, you will be given treatment options tailored to suit your needs and budget.
